• • As a Mobile Vehicle Inspector II with Manheim Express in Tampa Southeast, FL, you will be a critical member of our mobile inspections team, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of vehicle condition documentation for our clients.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough and precise vehicle inspections directly on client lots, meticulously documenting the overall condition of each vehicle within the established Manheim inspection parameters.
• • This role is essential for building and maintaining strong trust with our clients, demonstrating the significant value of the Manheim Marketplace, and actively encouraging them to provide more inventory for inspection through the delivery of high-quality and timely inspection reports.
• • You are expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, performing your duties with minimal guidance and supervision, while continuously demonstrating growing independence and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• • Your core duties will involve conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections, which includes safely locating, starting, moving, inspecting, and returning vehicles on dealer or client lots.
• • A key aspect of your role is to verify vehicle identification accurately, ensuring correct VIN, mileage, and sub-series information is entered into the inspection system.
• • You will meticulously inspect and document all vehicle equipment and options, noting any damage, missing items, or inoperable components.
• • The inspection extends to the vehicle's exterior, where you will assess and record the condition of tires, frame, glass, panels, and mechanical components.
• • Similarly, you will conduct a detailed inspection of the vehicle's interior, documenting the condition of seats, dashboard, and all integrated options.
• • Performing basic mechanical checks on vehicles, including the powertrain, drivetrain, and electrical systems, is also a fundamental part of your responsibilities.
• • You will be responsible for preparing and submitting daily activity reports to management, providing clear insights into your work and findings.
• • A crucial element of this role is the ability to pivot and adapt to changes in daily appointments, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness during each dealer visit.
• • You will develop a deep understanding of the clients within your designated territory, collaborating closely with partners to keep them actively engaged with Manheim mobile inspections through regular, proactive on-lot engagement.
• • You will receive and leverage data and insights from partners to optimize the volume of units inspected on dealer lots.
• • As a representative of Cox Automotive, you will act as a brand ambassador, delivering a premier client experience by interfacing regularly with core clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
• • You will function as a dedicated team player, working collaboratively with the Wholesale Specialist team, your peers, and other Manheim workgroups and auctions.
• • Proficiency in utilizing Salesforce.com for reporting, lead input, and customer performance reviews is expected.
• • A solid understanding of the NAAA Frame/Structure Damage Policy is required.
• • You will operate within a continuous improvement and Lean environment, with encouragement to actively drive a Lean culture.

• • The position demands the physical capability and mental acuity to execute duties successfully within required timeframes to meet business demands, including standing, walking, talking, hearing, crouching, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
• • You will frequently need to crouch, bend, and kneel to inspect the sides or undersides of vehicles, and possess the strength to lift hoods or trunks and bend while performing audits.
• • Reaching inside or underneath vehicles will be a regular part of the inspection process.
