📋 Description

• As a Motion Designer & Video Producer (Contractor) at Siena AI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the world perceives our AI-powered customer experience platform by transforming complex product innovations into emotionally resonant, story-driven launch videos that generate excitement and drive adoption.
• Your work will directly influence how customers, investors, and partners understand and connect with Siena’s technology, turning technical capabilities into compelling narratives that highlight real-world impact and human-centered design.
• You will own the end-to-end creation of launch videos—from initial concept and scripting through animation, sound design, and final delivery—collaborating closely with product, design, marketing, and founder teams to ensure each video captures the essence of what we’ve built and why it matters.
• Day to day, you will translate product briefs and engineering insights into video concepts with a clear narrative arc, write scripts, direct voiceover, and develop detailed storyboards in Figma before animation begins.
• You will execute full motion design production, including UI animations, transitions, text choreography, sound design, and music direction, using tools like After Effects, Premiere, and Figma to bring stories to life with precision and creativity.
• You will maintain a consistent visual language across all launches while ensuring each video feels fresh, distinctive, and hype-worthy, adapting quickly to evolving direction in a fast-moving startup environment.
• You will experiment with AI-native motion workflows—leveraging tools like Runway, Kling, Pika, and Adobe Firefly—to accelerate production and unlock creative techniques that would be impossible through traditional methods alone.
• You will work asynchronously with a distributed European team, managing your own project flow across multiple launches, taking full ownership of both creative direction and execution without needing overly prescriptive briefs.
• You will partner directly with co-founders and cross-functional leads to make every Siena product launch feel like a significant event, blending technical depth with cinematic storytelling to build anticipation and engagement.

🎯 Requirements

• Portfolio of launch videos for tech or SaaS products that demonstrate story-driven storytelling, the ability to simplify complex ideas, and a track record of building hype and emotional engagement.
• Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere, and Figma, with a strong grasp of scriptwriting, storyboarding, voiceover direction, and music selection as integral parts of the creative process.
• Hands-on experience with AI motion tools such as Runway, Kling, Pika, Adobe Firefly, or similar, used to accelerate workflows and explore innovative techniques beyond traditional animation.
• Product design sensibility—understanding UI well enough to animate it in ways that feel native, intuitive, and true to the product’s interaction language.
• Comfort working asynchronously with distributed teams, managing independent project flow, and thriving in ambiguous environments where direction evolves through conversation rather than rigid briefs.
• Ability to own both creative direction and execution end-to-end, without separating ideation from production, and a mindset focused on narrative arcs over feature lists.
