- • As a Multigres Deployment Engineer at Supabase, you will own the deployment and operational infrastructure of Multigres, our distributed Postgres platform, ensuring reliable and scalable cloud-native database deployments for developers worldwide.
- • You will build and maintain the Go-based Kubernetes Operator, architect cloud deployment infrastructure for EKS and other platforms, manage storage and networking layers using CSI drivers and persistent volumes, develop internal tooling for provisioning and scaling, and implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure operational excellence.
- • You will collaborate closely with database engineers, SRE, and product teams to deliver seamless deployment experiences across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- • Supabase is a remote-first, open-source-driven company with over 280 team members across 55+ countries, backed by $500M in funding and serving 500,000+ community members. You’ll join a team that builds in public, values transparency, and contributes to the open-source ecosystem while solving hard problems in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Kubernetes operators, cloud-native databases, distributed systems, and infrastructure automation while making a tangible impact on how developers deploy and manage Postgres at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong systems programming skills with proficiency in Go and experience building production-grade Kubernetes operators or controllers
- • Deep Kubernetes expertise including hands-on experience with internals, custom resources, and cloud-managed services (EKS, GKE, AKS)
- • Database operations knowledge covering deployment patterns, backup/restore, replication, and high availability
- • Distributed systems experience with consensus protocols, failure modes, and designing for resilience
- • Cloud infrastructure background with IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi) and cloud provider APIs
- • Production operations mindset with a track record of building reliable, observable, and maintainable systems
