• • As a Network Contracting Specialist at Devoted Health, you will be at the forefront of building and expanding our vital Medicare Advantage provider network across an assigned geographic region. This role is instrumental in ensuring our members have access to high-quality healthcare by identifying, engaging, and securing contracts with healthcare providers who align with our mission and standards.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and grow a robust provider network. This involves proactive outreach to potential partners, clearly articulating Devoted Health's unique value proposition, our compassionate approach to care, and the specific expectations for network participation. You will be the face of Devoted Health to these providers, building strong relationships based on trust and mutual understanding.
• • A significant part of your role will be guiding healthcare providers through the entire contracting lifecycle. This includes educating them on the intricacies of our contract terms, detailing the necessary requirements for participation, and outlining the subsequent steps in the process. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely will be crucial in facilitating a smooth and efficient onboarding experience.
• • You will be responsible for the meticulous preparation and routing of standard provider agreements, ensuring strict adherence to approved templates and established pricing guidelines. This requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to process integrity.
• • Coordination of contract execution is a key function, involving diligent tracking of all required documentation, managing intricate workflows, and ensuring timely signatures to finalize agreements. Your organizational prowess will be directly contribute to the speed and success of network expansion.
• • Leveraging data and market insights will be essential. You will utilize relevant provider information, market intelligence, and performance data to analyze contracting issues, support negotiation strategies, and collaborate with leadership to resolve complex challenges. This analytical component ensures our network development is strategic and data-driven.
• • You will be expected to prioritize your contracting activities effectively within established guidelines, demonstrating sound judgment and the ability to make independent decisions. Escalating questions, potential risks, or roadblocks to leadership in a timely manner is critical to meeting performance goals and deadlines.
• • Collaboration is paramount. You will work closely with a variety of internal departments, including Legal, Network Operations, Credentialing, Finance, and Market teams. Your ability to surface issues, facilitate communication, and drive resolutions across these functions will be key to overcoming obstacles and achieving network objectives.
• • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation within our internal systems is a non-negotiable aspect of this role. This ensures data integrity and provides a clear audit trail for all contracting activities.
• • Beyond day-to-day contracting, you will have the opportunity to contribute to broader Network Development initiatives. This includes participating in strategic planning, identifying areas for improvement, and actively contributing to continuous process enhancement efforts, helping to shape the future of our network.
