Network Provisioning Engineer

📋 Description

• • The Network Provisioning Engineer at GTT Communications is responsible for designing, physically assigning services, and updating internal inventory records for global network services including DIA, IP Transit, MPLS VPLS, IP/SDWAN/Security services. This role ensures the integrity of service delivery while providing an exceptional client experience through end-to-end network deployment lifecycle support.
• • Day to day, the engineer designs and modifies network solutions, collaborates with sales, sales engineering, and project management teams, creates and maintains engineering documentation, supports customers during service turn-up by troubleshooting throughput, routing, and other technical issues, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, manages client service resource allocations, and contributes to the organizational knowledge base.

• • In this role, the person will develop expertise in designing and implementing complex network solutions using Juniper equipment (PTX, MX, QFX, ACX, EX series), gain deep experience with MPLS, TCP/IP, VPN, BGP, QoS, and IP Telephony, strengthen skills in IT Service Management best practices, and grow their ability to represent GTT technically at various levels while contributing to knowledge management and process improvement initiatives.
