This is a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover position, offering a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to our People Strategy across our international offices.
  • • You will be the central point of contact for the day-to-day operations of our office spaces, primarily based at our Central London headquarters, while also maintaining connections with our teams in Leeds, Berlin, and Frankfurt. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of facilities management tasks, ensuring a seamless and productive environment for all iwocans.
  • • This includes the meticulous coordination of essential services such as food deliveries, managing visitor access, and acting as the primary liaison with building management to promptly address and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be the diligent management of all supplier agreements and contracts that contribute to the excellence of our office environments. This involves negotiating terms, ensuring value for money, and maintaining strong, productive relationships with our vendors.
  • • You will be responsible for ensuring that our office spaces consistently meet and exceed general health and safety regulations, including fire safety compliance. This proactive approach will guarantee a secure and compliant working environment for everyone.

You will work closely with them to ensure our office spaces not only meet our current requirements but are also scalable for future growth. Furthermore, you will partner with estate agents to identify and secure new office options as we anticipate outgrowing our current desk space.
  • • This role also involves the planning and execution of significant office space enhancements. You will lead any changes or renovations we wish to implement, including collaborating with external designers to refresh and optimize our workspaces, ensuring they align with iwoca's brand and employee needs.

  • • You will own and deliver a dynamic schedule of events throughout the year, designed to keep our community connected, engaged, and entertained. This includes major company-wide celebrations such as our Summer and Winter parties and retreats, as well as smaller, regular events like pancake days, table tennis tournaments, and cultural celebrations such as Eid, ensuring a diverse and inclusive range of activities.
  • • Your proactive and anticipatory approach will be key. You will be expected to identify potential issues before they arise and implement solutions to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • • This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible impact on the employee experience at iwoca, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment that aligns with our mission to support small businesses.
  • • You will be a champion for our office spaces and community initiatives, embodying iwoca's values and contributing to our reputation as a great place to work.
  • • Your ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs will be essential in this fast-paced environment.
  • • You will contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of our office facilities and community programs, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas.
  • • This role requires a blend of operational excellence, strategic thinking, and a genuine passion for creating positive experiences for people.
