- • As an Operations Engineer at Centific Global Technologies Pte. Ltd., you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the physical and logical infrastructure that powers the company’s AI data foundry, ensuring seamless interconnection, server, and network operations across global data centers and vendor ecosystems.
- • Day to day, you will troubleshoot server and network hardware including fiber/optic cables and optics, manage circuit MACD life cycles, coordinate with vendor technicians for installations and maintenance, facilitate physical layer cabling per matrices, conduct fault analysis, support production environments, track requests via JIRA, maintain inventory databases (server, circuit, spares), and participate in on-call rotations for ad-hoc issue resolution.
- • Centific is a frontier AI data foundry with over 150 PhDs and 4,000+ AI practitioners, empowering enterprise clients and the Magnificent Seven with safe, scalable GenAI deployment through purpose-built technology platforms, vector databases, and pre-trained datasets, reducing GenAI costs by up to 80% and accelerating time-to-market by 50%.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in data center infrastructure, vendor management, ITIL processes, and cross-timezone coordination while contributing to process improvements, inventory accuracy, and reliable operations that underpin cutting-edge AI innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years experience in datacenter or corporate/enterprise IT infrastructure, operating in IT best practices (ITIL), and operating within equipment lifecycle processes.
- • Experience executing detailed MOPs, technical instructions, following documentation.
- • Knowledge of relevant technologies - fiber optics, DWDM/CWDM devices, network interface types: form factors and protocols
- • Strong troubleshooting skills technical, logistical, process, and others.
- • Experience planning and coordinating with field operation technicians, engineers, contractors, and vendors with Telecom ISP and Colo Providers.
- • Excellent oral and written communication. Ability to express ideas clearly and provide effective remote technical guidance and troubleshooting.
- • Basic command-line proficiency in Linux/Unix and any switch OS CLI
- • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
