- • Second level technical support for GTT’s international client base in Network Services & Security fields, ensuring world-class customer experience through efficient incident resolution and proactive problem management.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning and resolving break/fix incidents, escalating to vendor or internal teams when needed, providing action plans for issue resolution, documenting support activities, performing network and security configurations, and maintaining operational processes for network stability.
- • The team is a highly skilled, customer-centric break/fix organization focused on consistency, process, and collaboration across GTT’s global operations to deliver reliable, multi-vendor network and security services.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in telecom/network operations, gain hands-on experience with SD-WAN, routing protocols, L2/L3 technologies, and network security tools, while developing strong communication and incident management skills in a fast-paced, international environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations within a Telco, Service Provider, Managed Services Provider, or similar environment
- • Good understanding and demonstrable experience with routing protocols (BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP)
- • Good understanding and demonstrable experience with L2 technologies (VLANs, Q-in-Q, Trunks, VTP, Spanning-Tree Protocols, Aggregation/LACP)
- • Good Cisco/Juniper knowledge and experience is a must
- • General knowledge of Linux/Unix based tools and operations
- • General understanding of network security technologies and experience with NGFWs (NAC, VPNs, DPI, IPS/IDS, Application control, Content filtering, etc.)
