As we expand beyond our founder's direct involvement, onboard new practitioners, and launch innovative directions, we are seeking a highly capable and results-oriented Operations & Finance Lead to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is designed for an individual who thrives on bringing structure to complexity, possesses a keen financial acumen, and is driven by a desire to take ownership of operational and financial outcomes. You will be the crucial link between our strategic vision and its effective execution, ensuring the smooth and profitable operation of Shanti Place.
  • • As the Operations & Finance Lead, your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain robust operational frameworks and financial discipline. This involves translating the company's strategic goals into actionable plans, setting clear priorities, and meticulously monitoring performance across all departments. You will be instrumental in building and continuously improving our operational processes, aiming to significantly reduce the founder's day-to-day operational burden. A key aspect of this role is ensuring the successful and efficient execution of all launches, programs, and events, from conception through to delivery and post-event analysis.
  • • The core of this position lies in Finance & Business Economics. You will be the architect of our financial future, responsible for comprehensive financial planning and forecasting. This includes developing detailed unit economics for all our offerings, whether they are individual events, multi-day retreats, or ongoing programs. You will lead the creation and diligent management of budgets, conduct thorough profitability calculations for all new initiatives and launches, and implement stringent cost control measures to ensure financial discipline. Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) will be essential for data-driven decision-making, allowing us to measure success and identify areas for improvement. A fundamental requirement for this role is a genuine enjoyment of working with numbers and financial modeling; this is not a task to be endured, but a core competency to be embraced.
  • • You will play a critical role in launching and scaling new directions for Shanti Place. This involves taking innovative ideas from conception and translating them into realistic, viable business models. You will be responsible for calculating break-even points, return on investment (ROI), and defining target audiences and market positioning for new ventures. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing and executing the launch of new programs, ensuring they are not only creative and impactful but also financially sustainable and poised for long-term growth.
  • • While not the primary focus, you will provide oversight for marketing and sales activities. This means ensuring the efficient execution of the marketing strategy, understanding funnel logic, and closely monitoring performance metrics. You will work with our high-ticket products, contributing to the development of a structured and effective sales system. Your role here is to guarantee marketing efficiency and a strong financial return on investment, rather than being directly involved in creative content generation.
  • • A foundational understanding of digital products and IT logic is also required. You will need the ability to communicate effectively with IT specialists and, in the future, participate in supervising the development and economics of our planned subscription-based digital product, such as an app with courses and gamification. While deep technical expertise is not expected, a managerial understanding of digital product development and its financial implications is essential for guiding this future growth area.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role such as COO, Head of Operations, or Operations Lead, demonstrating a track record of successfully managing complex operations.
  • • Strong financial expertise, including a deep understanding of P&L statements, budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and unit economics, with a genuine enjoyment for financial modeling and analysis.
  • • An analytical and systems-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify inefficiencies, develop streamlined processes, and implement structured solutions to complex operational challenges.
  • • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment, and effectively delegating tasks.
  • • A solid understanding of marketing and sales mechanics, particularly in relation to high-ticket products, and the ability to oversee marketing strategy execution for financial efficiency and return on investment.
  • • Basic understanding of digital product logic and IT infrastructure, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and evaluate the economics of digital offerings.
  • • English proficiency at a minimum B1+/B2 level.
  • • Russian or Ukrainian language skills are preferred.
