📋 Description

• Dandy Technology is seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to join their Design Operations team, playing a pivotal role in transforming the dental industry through technological innovation. This position is crucial for scaling production at an unprecedented volume and speed, acting as the operational backbone for hypergrowth. • As an Operations Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will be multifaceted and critical to the company's expansion. You will be instrumental in building and leading a robust Project Management Office (PMO) structure, translating ambitious long-term growth targets into actionable, sequenced ramp plans, clear operational objectives, and well-defined cross-functional execution milestones. This involves meticulous planning and strategic foresight to ensure operational readiness for rapid scaling. Furthermore, you will focus on constructing scalable systems that enhance efficiency and quality. This includes close collaboration with workforce, quality, and training teams to refine existing systems, develop comprehensive data reporting mechanisms, and pioneer innovative new workstreams. A key aspect of this role is partnering with the Product team to develop bespoke tooling and automated solutions designed to significantly increase operational efficiency and consistently promote high-quality outcomes across all processes.
• You will also own the architecture and strategy for operational systems. This involves a deep partnership with Product and Data teams to conceptualize and implement custom tooling and automated solutions that not only boost efficiency but also ensure the highest standards of quality are met. Ensuring visibility and accountability across operations is paramount. To achieve this, you will build sophisticated data tracking systems to meticulously analyze workforce and tooling performance, thereby driving continuous improvement initiatives across all relevant teams. A critical skill will be your ability to understand complex technical problems and distill them into clear, concise, and high-level summaries suitable for senior management and executive teams, facilitating informed decision-making. You will be responsible for operationalizing improvements by diagnosing operational bottlenecks, designing effective solutions, and leading pilot programs and full-scale rollouts to systematically close identified gaps and optimize workflows.
• Your role will also involve significant cross-functional leadership, acting as the essential connective tissue between Strategy Operations, Product, Data, Design, and Manufacturing. This ensures that the system architecture being developed accurately reflects current operational realities and anticipates future scale needs, fostering a cohesive and integrated operational framework. The ultimate goal is to build the operational infrastructure necessary for hypergrowth, ensuring Dandy can meet and exceed its ambitious expansion targets while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in operations, manufacturing, or systems-focused roles (consulting, strategy, or product ops experience a plus).
• Very strong program/project management skills with experience delivering cross-functional system rollouts.
• Ability to build workstreams from 0 to 1 in support of new product introductions.
• Data-driven problem solver; comfortable using Looker (SQL is a plus), or similar tools to build visibility and drive decisions.
• Strong communicator who can translate operational needs into system requirements and influence cross-functional partners.
• Self-starter with high ownership, detail orientation, and ability to drive clarity in ambiguous environments.
