📋 Description

• As a Part-Time Technical SEO & Web Operations Contractor at Rasa Technologies Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping and optimizing our diverse web ecosystem. This role is designed for a highly accountable and proactive individual who can take ownership of our web properties, ensuring they are technically sound, accurately tracked, and strategically aligned. You will be the key technical liaison between marketing and engineering, translating complex technical findings into actionable requirements and driving improvements across multiple platforms.
• Our web presence is multifaceted, encompassing several distinct properties hosted on separate servers and built with different frameworks. These include the main marketing site (rasa.com) built on Webflow, our comprehensive documentation site (rasa.com/docs) powered by Docusaurus, our community forum (forum.rasa.com) running on Discourse, the Hello Rasa platform, and our educational hub, Rasa University (learning.rasa.com), hosted on Vercel. This fragmentation presents unique challenges in managing SEO authority, ensuring consistent tracking, and maintaining unified technical governance. Your primary mission will be to bring order and strategic direction to this complex landscape, ensuring each property contributes effectively to our overall online presence and business objectives.
• Your responsibilities will span comprehensive Technical SEO Ownership. This begins with performing an initial, in-depth audit of all web properties to identify any existing crawl, indexing, schema, performance, or structural issues. Following this audit, you will establish a robust monitoring system to continuously track the health and performance of our sites. You will be responsible for ongoing technical audits, diligently monitoring tools like Google Search Console and other relevant SEO platforms. A critical aspect of this role is providing clear, concise diagnoses of identified issues and delivering prioritized recommendations that address both immediate concerns and long-term strategic goals. Furthermore, you will ensure a cohesive and effective internal linking strategy is implemented across all our web properties, enhancing site navigation and SEO authority flow.
• In the realm of Web Operations & Tracking, you will ensure the accurate configuration and ongoing validation of our analytics and tracking infrastructure. This includes meticulous setup and maintenance of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), cookie consent management, and event tracking across all platforms. You will be responsible for validating the accuracy of attribution models, conversion tracking, and overall reporting, ensuring that our marketing and business decisions are based on reliable data. Monitoring site health, performance metrics, and critical errors will be a daily task, allowing for proactive intervention. You will also meticulously manage essential technical SEO elements such as sitemaps, robots.txt files, canonical tags, and indexing rules to ensure optimal search engine visibility.
• A crucial component of this role involves Documentation & Engineering Requirements. You will translate your technical findings and recommendations into clear, comprehensive technical documentation that is easily understood by non-technical stakeholders and precisely defined for engineering teams. This includes providing engineering-ready requirements, detailed specifications, and acceptance criteria for proposed changes. You will act as the primary technical partner to our engineering team, collaborating closely on the implementation of SEO and web operations improvements. Post-deployment validation will be essential to confirm that changes have been implemented correctly and are achieving the desired outcomes.
• You will be responsible for Reporting & Visibility, providing regular, insightful reports that summarize performance trends, highlight potential risks, and celebrate key wins. A proactive approach to flagging issues before they significantly impact performance is expected. Your recommendations should not only address technical problems but also align with broader business goals, demonstrating a strategic understanding of how web operations contribute to Rasa's success.
• Finally, your role will involve Strategic Oversight of our entire web ecosystem. You will adopt a holistic view, ensuring consistency in technical implementation, user experience, and SEO strategy across all properties. Developing and maintaining a long-term technical SEO roadmap will be key to guiding our efforts and ensuring sustained growth and performance. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a complex and evolving web infrastructure, working independently and driving meaningful improvements within a flexible schedule.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical SEO and web infrastructure management.
• Proven experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Google Search Console.
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical findings into clear documentation and engineering requirements.
• Experience working collaboratively with engineering teams to implement web changes.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and properties independently.
• Familiarity with documentation-based site builders like Docusaurus is highly preferred.
• Comfortable reading and understanding basic code, including HTML, structured data (e.g., JSON-LD), and site configuration files.
