  • • OpenAI is at the forefront of artificial intelligence research and deployment, with a mission to ensure that general-purpose AI benefits all of humanity. We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Partner Director to lead and scale our flagship global alliance with Capgemini, a leading professional services company. This pivotal role is designed to accelerate customer success, drive AI adoption, and foster significant growth within the enterprise market by leveraging the power of OpenAI's cutting-edge AI products.
  • • As the Global Head of Capgemini Alliance, you will be the single accountable executive owner responsible for the strategic direction, operational governance, and commercial success of this critical partnership. Your primary objective will be to translate strategic alignment into tangible, scaled commercial and operational outcomes across the global enterprise landscape. This position demands full responsibility for the alliance's performance, ensuring the integrity of its operating model, and driving sustained expansion.
  • • You will own the global Capgemini alliance P&L, with a keen focus on revenue growth, deployment velocity of AI solutions, and long-term strategic expansion. This involves managing OpenAI's side of the AI Transformation Alliance, which serves as the operational framework for hundreds of joint clients and enterprise AI transformation initiatives. Your leadership will be instrumental in orchestrating the collaboration between OpenAI and Capgemini to deliver multi-year AI enterprise transformations powered by OpenAI's enterprise-grade products.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves serving as OpenAI’s senior executive counterpart to Capgemini’s global leadership. You will be responsible for setting joint priorities, proactively resolving escalations, and driving coordinated execution at scale. This requires a deep understanding of both organizations' strategic objectives and operational capabilities.
  • • You will direct the allocation of critical OpenAI resources, including research, product, and go-to-market (GTM) teams, to support Capgemini-led engagements. Furthermore, you will govern Capgemini’s access to tiered OpenAI benefits, such as engineering engagement, roadmap collaboration, co-build initiatives, and GTM priority, all of which will be directly tied to performance metrics and alliance success.
  • • This role requires leading co-selling efforts and the execution of large, complex enterprise AI Cloud transformation opportunities. You will engage directly with senior enterprise executives across procurement, security, legal, risk, and technology functions, building trust and demonstrating the value of OpenAI's solutions.
  • • You will ensure that Capgemini consistently delivers OpenAI enterprise products as an integral part of their consulting cycles, from initial strategy development through to long-term operations. This includes enforcing stringent delivery quality standards, ensuring adherence to certification requirements, and maintaining robust conflict-of-interest guardrails across Capgemini’s global workforce.
  • • Strategic planning is crucial; you will define vertical strategies and identify lighthouse accounts within priority industries, focusing on high-impact opportunities. To support these efforts, you will be responsible for building and leading OpenAI’s dedicated Capgemini alliance team, encompassing partner management, technical success, enablement, and operations specialists.
  • • Establishing strong leadership bench strength within the alliance and implementing a durable cadence for execution are essential for long-term success. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of enterprise AI adoption through a strategic global partnership, driving significant impact for both OpenAI and its clients.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of enterprise AI, cloud, and data transformation, coupled with the ability to build and scale joint operating models between large, complex organizations. You will be comfortable operating under high-stakes accountability and influencing cross-functional leaders across product, sales, legal, communications, and partner organizations. Fluency in platform and services go-to-market strategies is essential, as is the ability to build credibility with CIOs, CTOs, and enterprise architects.
  • • This is a leadership role that requires a blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and deep partnership management expertise. You will be instrumental in driving the success of one of OpenAI's most critical global alliances, contributing directly to our mission of making AI beneficial for all of humanity.
