📋 Description
- • Facilitates the transition of new patients to Option Care Health services by coordinating with patients, referral sources, sales teams, pharmacy, and nursing staff to ensure seamless discharge and secure nursing and delivery arrangements.
- • Creates, communicates, and obtains all necessary documentation for new patient referrals to ensure compliance and timely service initiation.
- • Secures upfront patient payments and assists patients in identifying and accessing financial assistance programs to support affordability of care.
- • Supports clean claims processing by following up on missing or incomplete paperwork and managing claims on hold or denials through timely resolution.
- • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams across sales and operations to troubleshoot issues, resolve patient onboarding barriers, and maintain consistent service standards.
- • Maintains a high degree of attention to detail and quality focus while managing multiple patient referrals and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- • Delivers exceptional customer service to patients and referral partners, ensuring a positive and supportive experience throughout the onboarding process.
- • Assists Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special projects or assignments as needed to support departmental goals and operational efficiency.
- • Ensures all patient registration activities align with organizational standards for accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
- • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex insurance, payment, and documentation challenges unique to home and alternate site infusion care.
- • Maintains clear and professional communication with all stakeholders involved in the patient care transition process.
- • Adapts to changing priorities and workload demands while upholding a commitment to patient-centered care and operational excellence.
- • Contributes to a culture of inclusivity, respect, and engagement by valuing diverse perspectives and supporting team-wide initiatives.
- • Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall mission of Option Care Health in delivering extraordinary care to patients with acute and chronic conditions.
