- • As a US Payroll Administrator at Harris Computer Systems Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for over 500 employees across multiple US states on a bi-weekly basis.
- • This remote position offers a unique opportunity to manage the end-to-end payroll cycle, encompassing all critical aspects from initial setup to final disbursement and reporting.
- • You will be responsible for meticulously preparing and processing payroll, ensuring all calculations for wages, deductions (both voluntary and non-voluntary), and benefits are precise.
- • A key part of your role will involve managing changes to employee W4 information, processing direct deposits, and accurately calculating payments for non-exempt employees.
- • You will also handle complex payroll scenarios, including managing leaves of absence, processing termination payments, and ensuring all statutory requirements are met.
- • Collaboration with the HR team will be essential, where you will provide support on payroll-related matters such as benefit deductions, leave of absence and disability administration, and the onboarding and termination processes for employees.
- • You will be the point person for ensuring compliance with IRS regulations, which includes processing tax payments and ensuring all related forms and reports are submitted accurately and on time.
- • Proactive payroll audits will be a regular part of your responsibilities, aimed at identifying and rectifying any discrepancies to maintain the highest level of accuracy.
- • A significant component of the role involves delivering exceptional customer service by responding to and resolving employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies promptly and professionally.
