- • Promote, manage, and grow Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products—including Similac®, PediaSure®, and Pedialyte®—in physician office settings across the greater Raleigh-Durham, NC area.
- • Call on Pediatric, OB-GYN, and Family Practice offices to build relationships and drive product adoption.
- • Develop and support territory sales goals by aligning product offerings with clinical needs and practice workflows.
- • Deliver comprehensive product knowledge, including clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines, in a persuasive and educational selling environment.
- • Support new product launches by educating healthcare providers on indications, benefits, and usage protocols.
- • Work effectively with physicians, nurses, and office staff to ensure smooth product integration and ongoing support.
- • Maintain strong administrative skills to manage documentation, scheduling, and reporting requirements.
- • Manage personal territory budget with accountability for sales performance and expense tracking.
- • Operate with high autonomy, initiative, and self-motivation to achieve both short-term and long-term sales objectives.
- • Travel up to 20% of the time to visit client offices within the assigned territory.
- • Use a company-provided vehicle for territory coverage and client visits.
- • Maintain compliance with all company policies, healthcare regulations, and ethical sales practices.
- • Leverage clinical background or medical office sales experience to enhance credibility and effectiveness in physician interactions.
- • Demonstrate ability to function independently while representing Abbott’s brand and commitment to science-based nutrition.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required
- • Clinical background and/or experience selling into medical office settings
- • Registered Dietitian or Registered Nurse credentials in pediatric spaces strongly preferred
- • Ability to travel up to 20% and operate a company vehicle
- • Reside in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area (no relocation offered)
- • Strong administrative, budget management, and independent work skills
