- • As a People Operations Specialist at Bjak, you will be at the heart of our employee experience, taking ownership of the accurate, timely, and reliable execution of core HR operations that span the entire employee lifecycle. This is a fundamentally hands-on role, demanding a meticulous approach and a deep commitment to execution quality. You will be instrumental in supporting critical HR functions, including the seamless onboarding of new team members, the meticulous management of HR documentation, the efficient administration of our HR systems, the accurate tracking of attendance, and the smooth administration of employee benefits. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all HR processes operate flawlessly and that employee data remains consistently correct and up-to-date. This position is ideally suited for an individual who thrives on precision, values consistency in all their work, and possesses a strong sense of follow-through, especially within the dynamic and fast-paced environment that defines Bjak.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a wide array of essential HR tasks. You will be responsible for the preparation and diligent management of all HR documentation, which includes generating employment letters, confirmation letters, contract extensions, transfer letters, and other vital standard HR records, ensuring each document is accurate and compliant. A core part of your role will involve maintaining the integrity and accuracy of employee records across our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and various internal tracking systems, ensuring that all data updates are processed promptly and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in supporting the onboarding process by meticulously preparing all necessary documentation, coordinating the timely provision of system access for new hires, and ensuring Day 1 readiness by liaising effectively with relevant internal teams. Furthermore, you will be tasked with accurately tracking employee attendance, leave requests, and timesheet records, proactively identifying any discrepancies and providing essential support for payroll-related reporting. The administration of employee benefits will also fall under your purview, where you will assist with insurance enrollments, manage updates to benefit plans, and coordinate claims processes. Your responsibilities will extend to supporting the offboarding process, which includes managing the clearance procedures, coordinating the removal of system access, tracking the return of company assets, and ensuring all final documentation is completed accurately. Finally, you will actively participate in HR data audits and compliance checks, playing a vital role in upholding the accuracy and consistency of our HR data and processes, thereby contributing to Bjak's commitment to operational excellence and employee well-being.

- • Exceptional attention to detail and a disciplined approach to handling sensitive data and documentation.
- • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- • Familiarity with HRIS systems, advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets), and a solid understanding of HR documentation workflows.
- • Clear and effective communication skills, coupled with a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
- • Proven ability to work with speed, accuracy, and maintain a high level of discretion when handling confidential information.
