• • As a People Partner at HappyRobot, you will be instrumental in shaping our employee journey from the ground up. Your responsibilities will span the core of People Operations, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day functioning, while also driving impactful initiatives that foster a positive and productive work environment. You will be the go-to resource for employees, offering support and guidance with the utmost professionalism, empathy, and discretion, particularly when navigating complex employee situations. Your ability to build, meticulously document, and continuously refine People processes will be crucial in ensuring consistency, maintaining compliance, and delivering an exceptional employee experience as HappyRobot scales rapidly.
• • This role demands a proactive approach to partnering with leadership. You will collaborate closely with team leaders to conceptualize and implement innovative people programs. This includes designing and executing effective performance management processes, developing comprehensive manager enablement resources, and spearheading initiatives aimed at enhancing overall employee experience. A keen understanding of employment laws and internal policies is essential, and you will be responsible for ensuring adherence, working alongside leadership to address any compliance-related matters. Cross-functional collaboration will be a key aspect of your role, as you will work closely with Finance, Legal, and leaders across various departments to drive people-related initiatives forward. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to attract, retain, and develop top talent, ensuring HappyRobot remains a high-performance organization.

• • Key Responsibilities:
• • Own and execute core People Operations functions, including but not limited to payroll processing, HRIS management, benefits administration, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
• • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, providing guidance, support, and resolution for a wide range of HR-related inquiries and complex employee situations with empathy and discretion.
• • Develop, document, and continuously improve People Operations processes and policies to ensure scalability, compliance, and an exceptional employee experience.
• • Partner with leadership to design, implement, and manage people programs such as performance reviews, talent development initiatives, and employee engagement surveys.
• • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and operational leaders, on people-related projects and initiatives.
• • Contribute to building a strong employer brand and positive company culture through thoughtful people initiatives.
• • Leverage HR technology and AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve data accuracy within People Operations.
• • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements within the People function.
• • Support the development and implementation of HR analytics to provide insights and drive data-informed decision-making.
• • Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee data and information.
