- • The Physical Security Solutions Engineer role at New Era Technology is critical to delivering secure, end-to-end technology solutions by creating accurate estimates and proposals for physical security systems, directly supporting sales and project success.
- • Day to day, you will engage with sales teams as a product expert, gather and analyze project data to determine material and labor needs, develop bills of materials, write comprehensive proposals, and consult with internal stakeholders to resolve estimating issues for video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
- • You will join a global team of over 3,000 professionals at New Era Technology, a company committed to a People First culture, continuous learning, collaboration, and inclusion, where you’ll work alongside industry-certified experts and access ongoing training.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in physical security systems estimating, strengthen technical and client-facing communication skills, and grow your ability to manage complex projects with autonomy and precision in a remote-first environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience with Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion, and/or IT Infrastructure technologies
- • Familiarity with a variety of security device manufacturers
- • Intermediate Excel and MS Word skills including formatting, formulas, and document creation
- • Working knowledge of IP Networking
- • Experience in pre-sales, customer-facing engineering, estimating, design, or engineering (2+ years each)
- • Ability to manage workload independently with little supervision in a remote environment
