- • As a Platform Engineer at Govsignals Inc., you will design and build the foundational systems that power the company's AI-driven government contracting platform, working directly with the CTO and co-founder to ensure high performance, security, and scalability across serverless, containerized, and edge environments.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining compliant environments on Cloudflare and Kubernetes, optimizing and scaling the data platform using Postgres and S3/R2 storage, building core systems like data flows and deployment tooling, owning CI/CD automation, and creating tools that enhance developer velocity and system reliability.
- • You will join a fast-growing startup disrupting the government contracting industry with advanced AI solutions, where your infrastructure decisions directly impact how quickly and securely product teams can deliver winning government proposals.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern infrastructure stacks, gain end-to-end ownership of platform systems, and have the opportunity to shape the technical foundation of a high-impact AI platform while working closely with engineering leadership.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in backend, platform, or infrastructure engineering roles
- • Experience building and deploying production services in TypeScript or Python
- • Experience scaling Docker and Kubernetes in live environments
- • Experience with Postgres and data modeling at scale
- • Experience with observability stacks such as OpenTelemetry
- • Proven ability to work across layers from backend services to runtime deployments with speed and precision

- • Base salary range of $170,000 to $220,000
