- • As a Platform Engineer at Omnea, you will play a critical role in enabling the company’s mission to transform enterprise procurement by ensuring the underlying infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and efficient—directly impacting the speed and safety with which product teams deliver value to global enterprise customers.
- • You will design and evolve Omnea’s AWS serverless architecture to support 10x growth, multi-region high availability, and data residency requirements, ensuring the platform remains performant and resilient under increasing load.
- • You will own and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Pulumi-based Infrastructure-as-Code, enabling faster, safer deployments multiple times per day while reducing toil for product engineers.
- • You will build and enhance observability across the stack using Datadog, implementing proactive monitoring, alerting, and debugging capabilities so issues are identified and resolved before impacting customers.
- • You will improve developer experience by creating internal tooling, automating repetitive tasks, and removing friction in the development lifecycle, allowing engineers to focus more on shipping product features.
- • You will write production-quality TypeScript code across both infrastructure and product features, contributing to shared libraries, establishing coding standards, and raising the technical bar through code reviews and mentorship.
- • You will collaborate closely with product engineers and engineering leadership, balancing deep technical work with cross-functional partnership to align infrastructure capabilities with business goals.
- • You will operate in a high-ownership, bias-for-action culture where you are empowered to solve problems end-to-end—from initial design through production rollout—and drive improvements that directly support Omnea’s rapid scaling and enterprise customer retention.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of platform engineering experience in high-growth, cloud-native SaaS environments, with a proven track record of designing and operating scalable infrastructure.
- • Deep expertise in AWS serverless services including Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora, EventBridge, IAM, and networking, with hands-on experience designing for multi-region HA and data residency.
- • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Infrastructure-as-Code (preferably Pulumi), including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) and developer tooling at scale.
