- • As a Platform Engineer at PermitFlow Inc., you will join the infrastructure team to build, scale, and fine-tune the systems that power the company’s AI-driven platform for construction permitting and compliance, directly supporting the acceleration of housing, clean-energy, and infrastructure development across the U.S.
- • Day to day, you will architect secure, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure; design and implement backend/frontend services, APIs, and data pipelines; own features end-to-end; develop automation via Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD; monitor and optimize cloud performance; establish observability and alerting best practices; lead incident response and postmortems; and collaborate across engineering teams to improve velocity while ensuring reliability and security.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and distributed systems while gaining end-to-end ownership of platform features, contributing to mission-critical AI workflows, and growing as a technical leader in a high-impact, fast-paced startup environment focused on reindustrialization through AI-powered construction innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in Platform, Site Reliability, Infrastructure, or similar roles
- • Strong experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes a plus)
- • Expertise with CI/CD pipelines and modern infrastructure automation tools
- • Coding and scripting proficiency (Python, Go, Bash, etc.)
- • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred) and distributed systems
- • Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and incident management best practices
