Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• • As the first dedicated Platform Engineer at P1 AI Inc., you will own the deployment, operation, and scaling of Archie—our AI engineer—across complex customer environments, defining the foundational systems that enable reliable execution of AI in real-world industrial settings.
• • You will design and implement the BYOC (Bring Your Own Cloud) deployment model, build Kubernetes-based infrastructure across multiple clouds, create GitOps-driven tooling, and establish secure update mechanisms and observability patterns for distributed systems operating within customer-controlled environments.
• • You will join a mission-driven team of top minds in deep learning, model-based engineering, and industrial AI, backed by a $23M seed round from Radical Ventures and luminaries from OpenAI and DeepMind, working to deploy an AI engineer on every industrial team globally.
• • In this role, you will gain deep ownership of platform architecture at the intersection of infrastructure, product, and AI, shaping the evolution of our platform engineering function while solving high-leverage, ambiguous problems that directly impact product reliability and customer trust.
