- ⢠As a Platform Engineer on Mollieâs Release team, you will directly impact how the company delivers software to over 250,000 businesses across Europe by ensuring secure, reliable, and rollback-capable deploymentsâplaying a pivotal role in achieving 4 to 4.5 nines of uptime for critical services.
- ⢠You will own and evolve Mollieâs continuous delivery platform using GitLab, Argo CD, and GitOps methodologies, driving the company-wide rollout of canary deployments and feature flags to enable safer, faster experimentation and release cycles.
- ⢠Day to day, you will design and implement advanced deployment strategies, monitor system health using Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and improve scalability and resilience of Kubernetes-based environments (preferably GKE) on Google Cloud Platform.
- ⢠You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to treat all new features under feature flags, fostering a culture of safe experimentation and continuous improvement in software delivery practices.
- ⢠You will contribute to Mollieâs mission of eliminating financial bureaucracy by building reliable, scalable infrastructure that empowers businesses to get paid, manage money, and grow on their termsâsupported by a culture that values purpose-driven innovation and AI-enhanced workflows.

- ⢠In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern platform engineering, GitOps, observability, and cloud-native architectures while gaining influence over strategic reliability initiatives and having the opportunity to mentor others, lead technical improvements, and grow into broader platform or SRE leadership roles.
đŻ Requirements
- ⢠3+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or DevOps Engineer in a production environment.
- ⢠Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (preferably GKE) and public cloud infrastructure, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- ⢠Deep knowledge of CI/CD practices and proven experience with Argo CD (or similar GitOps tools like Flux).
- ⢠Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and solid programming/scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- ⢠Strong skills in monitoring and observability tools including Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- ⢠Bonus: Hands-on experience with feature flag management systems (e.g., OpenFeature, Flagd) and advanced expertise with GitLab or GitHub workflows.
