📋 Description

• As a Platform Engineer - AI Tooling at SailPoint, you will be at the heart of what makes the Identity Security Cloud platform scalable and reliable by empowering engineering teams with AI-powered internal tooling.
• You will research, design, and build platform tools that enable engineers to execute functional and non-functional testing, with a focus on integrating AI developer tools like Claude Code and Cursor to improve code quality, debugging, and performance analysis.
• You will join an innovative team building a world-class, AI-powered engineering tooling ecosystem as a first-class deliverable, working remotely from Mexico to support SailPoint’s mission of securing digital workforces through identity security.
• In this role, you will learn to architect scalable internal platforms, mentor peers on AI-assisted workflows, and measure the impact of your tools using data-driven insights to continuously improve engineering processes across the organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Real-world experience using AI developer tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar to write, debug, and improve code
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience as a platform, performance, or software engineer building internal tools
• Strong background in large-scale, distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS preferred), with understanding of microservice architecture and CI/CD tools like Docker and Kubernetes
