📋 Description

• As a Platform Engineer I on the Ascendon Platform Management & Security team, you will support critical AWS cloud infrastructure and Windows environments, ensuring secure, automated, and reliable platform operations for CSG Systems International, Inc.
• Day to day, you will manage AWS accounts using IaC tools like Terraform, maintain Active Directory and PKI systems, interface with developers and administrators for support, create automation scripts and documentation, resolve customer change requests and tickets, participate in 24/7 on-call rotations, and support security policy implementation and compliance tasks.
• You will join a fun, innovative, and cutting-edge team within CSG’s Ascendon organization, which is responsible for enabling secure and scalable cloud platforms across the enterprise, backed by over 40 years of empowering global brands with technology solutions.
• In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Windows/Linux administration, scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python), security tooling, and compliance processes, with opportunities to grow into more advanced platform and cloud engineering responsibilities through training and mentorship.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Familiarity with AWS or equivalent public cloud experience
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux Administration
• Familiarity with Cloud Security models and best practices
• Preference for scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to build infrastructure automations
• A desire to learn new things and work on cutting-edge technology
