📋 Description

• As a Platform Engineer II at Teamworks Technologies, you will own and maintain the AWS GovCloud infrastructure that powers elite sports and tactical organizations, ensuring stability, scalability, and observability across critical systems.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing EKS clusters, EC2, RDS/Aurora, ElastiCache, S3, and IAM; coordinating deployments across commercial and GovCloud environments; building reusable Terraform modules and Helm charts; diagnosing infrastructure issues; and translating platform changes into clear guidance for application teams.
• You will join a collaborative Platform Engineering team that serves application teams across the organization, focused on reducing friction through reliable, well-documented infrastructure and proactive communication.
• In this role, you will gain deep experience in regulated cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP), advance your expertise in Kubernetes and IaC, and have real ownership over systems that directly impact mission-critical operations in high-performance settings.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering
• Strong proficiency in Linux administration in production environments, including RHEL-based system management
• Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred), Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or comparable tooling
• Experience deploying and managing infrastructure in AWS
• Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to translate platform changes into clear guidance for application teams
