• • As a Platform Engineer at Deltia Robotics, you will be instrumental in shaping and evolving our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, performance, and security. You will have the autonomy to design, implement, and manage the core systems that empower our engineering and data science teams to innovate and deliver exceptional AI solutions. • • Your primary responsibilities will encompass the end-to-end lifecycle of our cloud infrastructure. You will be tasked with designing and meticulously maintaining our cloud environment, primarily on Amazon Web Services (AWS), leveraging the power of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Terraform. This ensures that our infrastructure is not only version-controlled and reproducible but also adaptable to our rapidly evolving needs. You will own and continuously improve our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, a critical component for enabling fast, safe, and frequent deployments of our software. This involves selecting, configuring, and optimizing tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins to streamline the development workflow and minimize deployment risks.
• • A significant part of your role will involve managing and scaling our Kubernetes clusters. You will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, performance, and scalability of our containerized applications, implementing best practices for deployment, networking, and resource management. Troubleshooting and maintaining these clusters will be key to ensuring seamless operation of our services.
• • Enhancing the developer experience is a core objective of this position. You will actively seek out and implement solutions that make it easier for our engineering teams to ship code, debug issues, and iterate quickly. This could involve developing internal tools, improving documentation, optimizing development environments, or streamlining deployment processes. Your efforts will directly impact the productivity and satisfaction of our development teams.
• • Furthermore, you will implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to achieve full observability of our infrastructure and applications. This proactive approach will enable us to detect and resolve issues before they impact our users, ensuring the stability and reliability of our AI platforms. You will also be responsible for configuring and optimizing our Content Delivery Network (CDN) infrastructure to ensure fast and efficient delivery of our services globally.
• • In addition to your core platform engineering duties, you will provide crucial support for our Machine Learning (ML) workloads in production. This involves collaborating closely with our data science team to ensure that their models are deployed, scaled, and monitored effectively.
