📋 Description

• This summer internship offers hands-on experience in platform engineering, focusing on improving internal developer tooling, deployment processes, and automation practices within an AWS-based environment.
• The intern will contribute to real business-critical systems by standardizing integration middleware deployment, automating repository documentation, and reducing technical debt through API inventory management and infrastructure-as-code templates.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include running Postman collections in DevOps pipelines, creating GitHub Actions for documentation, maintaining API inventories in LeanIX, and developing AWS CDK and Step Functions templates.
• The role is part of the IT Infrastructure and Integration team at Pure Group Holdings Inc., a member-owned property and casualty insurer committed to service, innovation, and a supportive, growth-oriented culture.
• Interns will gain practical experience with cloud-native DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and collaboration in a mission-driven organization that values learning, transparency, and community.

🎯 Requirements

• Basic proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Familiarity with agentic workflows, AI/LLM tools, or related automation concepts is preferred.
• Exposure to AWS cloud services and cloud-native development practices is a plus but not required.
