- • Lead the strategic direction and long-term vision for a practice area within Pine Services Group’s portfolio company, aligning initiatives with organizational goals and market opportunities.
- • Directly manage and mentor a team of Practice Managers, providing guidance on performance, development, and operational execution to ensure team success and growth.
- • Own end-to-end financial and operational performance of the practice, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue targets, cost management, and profitability analysis.
- • Drive client retention and expansion by ensuring high-quality service delivery, strong client relationships, and consistent achievement of key performance indicators.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders across finance, operations, marketing, and talent to align practice strategy with company-wide initiatives and resource allocation.
- • Develop and implement scalable operational frameworks and processes to improve efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance service delivery across the practice.
- • Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and client needs to identify new service offerings, market expansions, or strategic pivots for the practice.
- • Establish and track key metrics for practice health, including utilization rates, margin improvement, client satisfaction, and team productivity.
- • Serve as the primary point of accountability for practice outcomes, regularly reporting progress and challenges to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- • Foster a high-performance culture within the practice by promoting accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development among team members.
- • Recruit, onboard, and retain top-tier talent for the practice, ensuring the team is structured to meet current and future business demands.
- • Represent the practice externally through client meetings, industry events, and thought leadership activities to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
- • Balance strategic planning with hands-on leadership, ensuring both long-term vision and day-to-day operational excellence are maintained.
- • Adapt quickly to evolving business priorities and market conditions while maintaining focus on sustainable growth and client value.
- • Ensure compliance with internal policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards across all practice activities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Practice Director, Practice Manager, or similar senior leadership role in a professional services or consulting environment
- • Demonstrated success in leading teams of managers and driving financial and operational performance of a business unit
- • Strong track record in developing and executing strategic plans that result in revenue growth and improved profitability
- • Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality service at scale
- • Ability to analyze financial data, set budgets, and drive margin improvement
- • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
