  • • Lead the end-to-end pre-construction lifecycle for 20–40 residential projects simultaneously across Dallas, from lot acquisition through permitting to handoff to field construction teams.
  • • Serve as the central hub coordinating Architecture, Design, Procurement, and local Field teams to ensure seamless project progression and alignment on site-specific requirements.
  • • Utilize Homebound’s proprietary technology platform to build, track, and optimize project schedules, identifying critical dependencies, anticipating municipal approval bottlenecks, and deploying schedule compression strategies.
  • • Manage permitting processes and relationships with the City of Dallas, suburban building departments, and Master-Planned Community HOAs/Architectural Review Committees (ARCs) to accelerate approvals and avoid delays.
  • • Collaborate with Architecture & Design teams to optimize lot-specific home plans for local zoning regulations, site constraints, and cost-efficiency while maintaining design integrity.
  • • Conduct due diligence on land parcels including civil engineering plans, environmental constraints, utility access, and entitlements to de-risk projects before construction mobilization.
  • • Prepare and deliver comprehensive, “ready-to-start” project packages to the Construction team, ensuring all permits, plans, specs, and vendor agreements are finalized and approved before vertical construction begins.
  • • Navigate complex North Texas municipal codes and regulations with deep familiarity of DFW-area permitting workflows, trade partner networks, and consultant capabilities.
  • • Maintain a high-standard operational pipeline by ensuring no project remains stagnant; track progress with precision and proactively resolve blockers across departments.
  • • Identify and implement improvements to internal processes and the proprietary project management platform to enhance velocity, accuracy, and scalability across the Dallas market.
  • • Communicate clearly and persuasively with internal stakeholders and external agencies to drive deadlines, align expectations, and resolve conflicts while preserving professional relationships.
  • • Demonstrate exceptional organizational rigor and attention to detail in managing documentation, compliance records, and project timelines across a fast-paced, high-volume portfolio.
  • • Adapt quickly to evolving municipal requirements, design changes, and site-specific challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset focused on speed-to-market without sacrificing quality.
  • • Maintain active awareness of local market dynamics, including new developments, regulatory trends, and community feedback to inform strategic decisions and project adjustments.
  • • Ensure all pre-construction activities comply with Homebound’s operational standards and contribute to the company’s mission of redefining residential construction through technology and efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Residential Construction Project Management, Architecture, or Project Development
  • • Experience in production homebuilding or high-volume urban infill projects
  • • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings and civil engineering plans
  • • Direct experience with North Texas permitting processes and familiarity with DFW-area municipalities and HOAs/ARCs
  • • Proficiency in using proprietary project management software to track complex, multi-project pipelines
  • • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
