- • The PremierOne Remote System Admin role at Motorola Solutions is critical to ensuring the reliability and performance of public safety technology systems that protect communities nationwide. This position supports mission-critical Command Center Software platforms, including Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management, and Jail Management Systems, by providing expert technical support to public safety agencies.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include traveling to customer sites as needed to address technical issues, backfilling for onsite administrators, supporting new system cutovers, and performing routine maintenance. The role involves diagnosing and resolving system problems, conducting root-cause analysis, implementing technical notifications, maintaining on-premise, hybrid, and cloud systems, performing software patching, running diagnostics, generating performance reports, assisting with database backups, and documenting all actions using approved Motorola tools.
- • The Forward Deployed Resources Team operates in a fast-paced, professional environment dedicated to empowering public safety agencies with cutting-edge technology. The team supports a wide range of mission-critical solutions and values individuals who are motivated, customer-focused, and committed to enabling faster, smarter, and safer decision-making for customers across North America.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise IT infrastructure, public safety systems, and hybrid cloud environments. You will develop advanced troubleshooting skills, gain experience with enterprise-grade hardware and software (including HP, Microsoft, VMware, and Fortinet), and strengthen your ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders in high-pressure, security-sensitive environments. 🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- • 3+ years of IT or public safety experience
- • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (MCSA/MCSE skills)
- • Experience with Public Safety Applications including CAD, Mobile and RMS
- • Ability to troubleshoot application system issues including hardware, network and third-party components
- • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely
