As a Principal, Business Operations, you will play a pivotal role in the company's strategic and operational success, acting as a key contributor to the Business Operations team, which serves as the nerve center for planning, business intelligence, performance measurement, and transformational initiatives.
• • This role is designed for an individual who thrives at the intersection of financial control, product execution, and enterprise operations. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the business while actively preparing Kraken for its next significant phase of growth. Your responsibilities will span across critical functions, including Finance, Product, Treasury, Legal, and Compliance, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.
• • A core aspect of this position involves driving cross-functional initiatives. You will identify opportunities to enhance existing processes, strengthen internal controls, and significantly improve operational efficiency across various departments. This requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for optimization.
• • You will be responsible for maintaining and refining key cross-functional operations, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with Kraken's strategic objectives. This includes developing and implementing best practices that support our rapid growth.
• • Defining and tracking enterprise Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets will be a crucial part of your role. You will deliver insightful analytics that directly inform Kraken's overall strategy and help shape priorities for our Product and Commercial teams. This data-driven approach will be essential for guiding decision-making at all levels.
• • Support for annual and quarterly planning cycles is another key responsibility. You will coordinate inputs from FP&A, Product, and Data teams, ensuring a cohesive and accurate planning process. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive materials for critical business reviews, board decks, and executive updates, communicating progress and strategic direction effectively.
• • In this role, you will also lead or significantly contribute to integration projects stemming from acquisitions or strategic partnerships. Your focus will be on ensuring alignment, identifying synergies, and maintaining data consistency across all involved functions, facilitating successful post-merger integration.
• • Partnering closely with Finance, Audit, and Treasury teams is essential. Together, you will build and fortify robust business processes and strengthen company-wide financial controls, ensuring the integrity and security of Kraken's financial operations.
• • Building and nurturing trusted relationships across teams and at all levels of the organization is paramount. You will engage with C-suite leaders, product managers, and operational staff, fostering alignment, promoting accountability, and driving the successful execution of key initiatives.
