📋 Description
- • Partner with business stakeholders, clients, and engineering teams to define and architect end-to-end cloud solutions aligned with strategic objectives
- • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing Azure architectures across multiple domains including compute, storage, security, and platform services
- • Lead architecture for data and analytics platforms, specifically Azure Databricks and modern lakehouse patterns involving data lakes, ETL/ELT, and streaming
- • Develop and enforce cloud networking strategies including VNet design, hybrid connectivity via VPN/ExpressRoute, private endpoints, DNS, and load balancing
- • Define and implement Identity & Access Management (IAM) frameworks using Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access, SSO, MFA, and Zero Trust principles
- • Collaborate with development teams to ensure architectural alignment, adherence to best practices, and successful delivery of cloud-based solutions
- • Drive operational excellence through monitoring, logging, observability, automation, incident response, and disaster recovery strategies
- • Establish and promote cloud architecture standards, governance frameworks, and reusable design patterns across the organization
- • Lead architecture reviews and provide authoritative guidance on technical decision-making, trade-offs, and risk mitigation
- • Translate complex technical architectures into clear business value for clients and executive stakeholders
- • Mentor and guide junior engineers and architects to elevate the organization’s overall cloud architecture maturity
- • Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and continuously improve the innovation roadmap for Azure-based solutions
- • Deliver complex, multi-tier, distributed application architectures in Microsoft Azure environments
- • Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates to automate deployment and configuration
- • Integrate cloud solutions with CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent, repeatable, and secure deployments
- • Travel up to 20% for client meetings, project work, or team collaboration
🎯 Requirements
- • 15+ years of experience in IT, with at least 10 years focused on cloud architecture (Azure preferred)
- • Proven track record of working directly with clients and cross-functional development teams to deliver enterprise solutions
- • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services including compute, storage, security, and platform services
- • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and modern data architecture (data lakes, ETL/ELT, streaming, lakehouse)
- • Strong knowledge of cloud networking (hub-and-spoke architectures, VPN/ExpressRoute, DNS, load balancing)
- • Extensive experience with Identity & Access Management, including Azure AD, RBAC, SSO, MFA, and Zero Trust frameworks
