📋 Description
- • As a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at GoodRx, you will define and drive machine learning strategy across multiple domains while actively contributing to implementation, playing a critical role in advancing the company’s mission to provide affordable healthcare solutions to millions of Americans.
- • Day to day, you will design, build, and scale production ML systems and pipelines, lead development of complex ML solutions in partnership with Data Scientists, establish standards for model architecture and deployment, drive enterprise MLOps strategy, leverage agentic AI for faster feature delivery, mentor senior engineers, and solve highly complex technical problems through hands-on leadership.
- • You will join GoodRx’s engineering team, which supports the leading prescription savings platform in the U.S., trusted by over 25 million consumers and 750,000 healthcare professionals annually, and responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and innovative ML-powered healthcare solutions.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in ML systems at scale, influence technical direction across teams, gain experience with cutting-edge agentic AI and RAG architectures, and shape enterprise-wide ML governance and MLOps practices while contributing to a product that has helped Americans save nearly $75 billion on prescriptions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning systems at scale
- • Proven track record of leading and delivering large, complex ML initiatives
- • Strong expertise in ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost) and distributed systems
- • Extensive programming experience in Python required, Golang experience preferred
- • Experience in building data pipelines in cloud environments such as Airflow
- • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data ecosystems
- • Deep understanding of MLOps and production ML systems
- • Experience working with AI governance guidelines and compliance requirements
- • Strong software engineering and system design skills
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
