Principal Product Designer, Rich Media Experience

📋 Description

• • As a Principal Product Designer, Rich Media Experience at Zillow Group, you will own the end-to-end design for key 3D and rich media experiences, from early exploration to polished, production-ready delivery, directly impacting how users interact with immersive technologies like immersive walk-throughs, SkyTour, and Visual Search.
• • Day to day, you will partner with Product, Engineering, and Science teams to translate complex AI and computer-vision capabilities into intuitive consumer flows, prototype rapidly in ambiguous 3D/AR/VR spaces, lead design activities including journey mapping and user testing, and mentor other designers in immersive design practices.
• • You will join the Zillow Experience Design (ZxD) team, a fast-paced, multidisciplinary group focused on building useful, usable, and innovative experiences across web, mobile, and internal platforms, specifically within the Rich Media Experiences (RMX) team that leverages AI, computer vision, and 3D media to create differentiated consumer experiences.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in spatial and immersive systems, influence AI/ML product direction through UX decisions, build portfolio-level ownership across multiple 3D experiences, and advance your leadership in cross-functional collaboration and storytelling for emerging tech products.
