- • Serve as the senior customer-facing security authority supporting complex enterprise sales engagements for Vultr’s cloud infrastructure platform, guiding Sales and Business Development teams through the entire deal lifecycle.
- • Lead technical security discussions with customers, articulating the design and advantages of Vultr’s hypervisor isolation, infrastructure security controls, network segmentation, and platform resilience to build trust and overcome objections.
- • Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and security due diligence requests by clearly demonstrating the technical superiority and compliance posture of Vultr’s IaaS stack, including accurate completion of customer security questionnaires and documentation.
- • Address advanced, high-stakes technical security objections that extend beyond the scope of standard Sales Engineering teams, providing authoritative validation during enterprise procurement and evaluation phases.
- • Map Vultr’s security controls to industry frameworks and regulatory standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and GDPR to support compliance-driven customer deployments.
- • Conduct in-depth technical workshops and security architecture briefings for customer technical teams, executives, and partners to align on security expectations and decision criteria.
- • Collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security teams to ensure customer-specific security requirements are accurately captured, prioritized, and implemented within Vultr’s product roadmap.
- • Develop and refine security documentation, reference architectures, and technical collateral to enhance customer trust and support regulatory compliance initiatives.
- • Participate in proof-of-concept evaluations and strategic customer deployments, providing real-time security validation and threat modeling for high-risk environments including sovereign cloud and GPU compute workloads.
- • Provide subject matter expertise on confidential computing, high-performance cloud infrastructure, and secure sovereign cloud deployments tailored to regulated industries such as government, healthcare, and financial services.
- • Act as a trusted advisor to customer security and technical leadership throughout the procurement process, influencing key decision-making through clear, credible, and compelling technical narratives.
- • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Legal, and executive leadership to maintain consistent, accurate, and compliant security messaging across all customer-facing materials and engagements.
- • Contribute to the development of targeted security positioning strategies for vertical markets requiring stringent regulatory adherence and infrastructure sovereignty.
- • Translate complex technical security concepts into accessible, business-relevant narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences, enabling faster deal acceleration and reduced risk perception.
- • Support internal initiatives to standardize security response templates, improve automation in RFP workflows, and enhance the scalability of customer security validation processes.
- • Represent Vultr at industry events and customer forums as a security thought leader, reinforcing brand credibility and technical authority in cloud infrastructure.
- • Ensure alignment between customer security demands and Vultr’s underlying infrastructure capabilities, advocating for improvements where gaps are identified in platform security controls.
