- • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth for Ivanti’s IT security and ITSM solutions across the State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) market.
- • Identify, pursue, and close high-value, complex sales opportunities with state agencies, municipalities, universities, K-12 districts, and other SLED organizations.
- • Build, strengthen, and maintain executive-level relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, IT Directors, and other key decision-makers within SLED entities.
- • Engage in consultative selling to deeply understand client challenges related to cybersecurity and IT service management, and tailor Ivanti’s AI-powered solutions accordingly.
- • Stay current on state and local regulations, compliance standards (including CJIS, FERPA, HIPAA, NIST), and funding initiatives impacting IT security and ITSM in the public sector.
- • Lead strategic presentations and product demonstrations to articulate the value of integrated security and ITSM solutions to executive audiences.
- • Oversee and manage the full sales cycle, including RFP/RFI responses, contract negotiation, and closing of multimillion-dollar engagements.
- • Mentor junior account executives and contribute to the strategic development and performance of the SLED sales team.
- • Accurately forecast and report on sales pipeline, activity, and revenue projections to leadership with high precision.
- • Represent Ivanti at industry conferences, trade shows, and public sector events as a senior ambassador and thought leader.
- • Travel as required within the assigned territory to meet with clients, attend events, and support account growth initiatives.
- • Leverage Ivanti Neurons platform capabilities to demonstrate proactive, automated endpoint management and unified security and IT service delivery.
- • Align sales strategies with Ivanti’s core values of Win Together, Customers at our Core, Achieve and Exceed, and Own It to drive customer success and team performance.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; master’s preferred
- • 7+ years’ proven success in enterprise sales, specifically within SLED/public sector and/or IT security/ITSM solutions
- • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding multimillion-dollar sales targets
- • Existing senior-level relationships within SLED organizations highly desired
- • Deep understanding of SLED procurement, contracts, and budget cycles
- • Knowledge of leading IT security and ITSM platforms and regulatory requirements (CJIS, FERPA, HIPAA, NIST)
