- • This role offers a unique opportunity to be deeply embedded with a prominent Telco partner in the Seoul area, serving as Red Hat's primary technical representative. You will engage in extensive global collaboration with diverse Red Hat engineering and Product Management teams, as well as actively participate in open source communities, thereby making a substantial impact on worldwide telecommunication infrastructure.

This involves a deep dive into the technical requirements and strategic goals of our partners to ensure Red Hat's technologies provide optimal value.
- • You will play an active role in researching and integrating various OpenShift and Telco-specific features into cohesive and unified solutions. This includes proactively testing new technologies, experimenting with novel approaches, and delivering compelling proof-of-concept demonstrations that showcase the power and flexibility of Red Hat's platform.
- • A key objective is to accelerate the containerization of Telco workloads. You will partner with Telco companies to seamlessly integrate their offerings with the Red Hat OpenShift platform, ensuring unparalleled functionality, performance, and reliability for Tier-1 and Tier-2 5G/6G networks globally.
- • You will champion best practices in robust certification and continuous integration (CI) processes with Telco partners, ensuring that solutions are not only innovative but also stable, scalable, and maintainable.
- • Actively promote and advocate for the Red Hat Telco stack, including universal base images (UBI), Red Hat Enterprise Data Plane Development Kit (RHEL DPDK), and the OpenShift Operator Framework, educating partners on their benefits and implementation.
- • Work hand-in-hand with project managers, product managers, and engineering teams to establish predictable schedules for critical partner deliverables, ensuring timely and successful project execution.
- • Contribute to the team's collective success by generously sharing your work, insights, and expertise. You will also mentor and educate junior-level team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
- • Amplify the team's impact by publicizing achievements through engaging blog posts, web postings, and impactful conference presentations, positioning Red Hat as a thought leader in the Telco space.
- • Proactively troubleshoot, analyze bugs, determine root causes, and provide effective resolutions for partner issues discovered during integration work, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and technical support.
- • You will be expected to possess and apply deep Telco domain knowledge, including expertise in High Availability, performance characterization and optimization, NFV architecture, Edge designs, and O-RAN architecture.
- • Leverage AI tooling such as Google Gemini and Cursor for tasks including brainstorming solutions, conducting deep technical research, summarizing complex documentation, drafting communications, and enhancing problem-solving efficiency throughout the development lifecycle.
- • Maintain and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Telco partner organization, acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert.
- • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape within the telecommunications sector, particularly concerning cloud-native architectures and 5G/6G advancements.
- • Contribute to the development of internal Red Hat documentation, best practices, and training materials based on field experience and partner interactions.
- • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve Red Hat's Telco offerings and go-to-market strategies.
- • Ensure that all proposed and implemented solutions align with Red Hat's open source principles and commitment to community collaboration.
