• • The Processing Specialist I supports the Student Financial Services team by managing background processes such as packaging financial aid, reviewing and approving disbursements, processing R2T4s, verification, and determining credit balances, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining tasks set by leadership, communicating daily with Department of Education systems, performing financial aid packaging, reviewing and approving federal and state aid disbursements, processing credit balances, handling verification and conflicting information, processing R2T4s, managing adjustments from quality assurance, conducting state and proration calculations, utilizing KPIs and individual metrics, participating in department projects, and ensuring consistent attendance.
