Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Procurement Manager at Devoted Health, you will serve as a strategic partner to internal Business Owners, enabling them to navigate the purchasing and contracting lifecycle efficiently while ensuring compliance, value, and speed—acting not as a gatekeeper but as a facilitator who balances tactical execution with strategic support to drive mission-aligned outcomes.
- • You will partner closely with Business Owners to facilitate sourcing events and conduct cost analyses, ensuring they obtain the best quality and value for products and services by leveraging market insights, supplier evaluation, and data-driven decision-making to optimize spend without compromising on quality or service levels.
- • You will assist in the development, implementation, and optimization of electronic procurement tools and AI-driven solutions, focusing on automation to maximize operational efficiency, reduce manual administrative tasks, and ensure high-quality, clean data across the procurement lifecycle.
- • You will partner with Business Owners to lead vendor negotiations and identify cost-saving opportunities, acting as a strategic advisor to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels that align with organizational goals and deliver measurable savings.
- • You will perform first-pass reviews and light, playbook-based redlines on standard agreements such as Statements of Work (SOWs) and Order Forms, accelerating the approval process while maintaining contractual integrity and compliance with internal policies.
- • You will act as the central hub for contract intake, ensuring Business Owners submit complete documentation and efficiently routing agreements to Legal, IT Security, and Finance for final review, thereby reducing bottlenecks and improving cross-functional collaboration.
- • You will assist Business Owners with vendor setup and onboarding, collaborating across departments to transmit necessary information and ensure vendors are properly configured in systems for timely activation and payment processing.
- • You will serve as the primary point of contact for the business, providing clear, proactive, and timely updates on contract status from intake through execution, ensuring transparency and enabling stakeholders to plan effectively.
- • You will maintain the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) database and central purchase trackers (e.g., Google Sheets), ensuring accurate, up-to-date data on renewals, spending, and supplier performance to support reporting, forecasting, and audit readiness.
- • You will assist in creating user-friendly visual aids and process flowcharts to help stakeholders understand and navigate the procurement process more efficiently, reducing confusion and increasing adoption of standardized workflows.
- • You will operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities shift based on business needs, requiring adaptability, initiative, and a self-starter mindset to thrive amid change while maintaining high standards of accuracy and service.
- • You will contribute to Devoted Health’s mission of improving the health and well-being of older Americans by enabling internal teams to access the resources they need to deliver high-quality, integrated care—directly supporting the company’s vision of compassionate, technology-enabled healthcare.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in procurement, contract administration, or sourcing, preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment.
- • Proven ability to drive change and process compliance through communication, education, and relationship-building rather than mandates.
- • Demonstrated ability to read and understand commercial terms (e.g., SOWs, Order Forms) and perform light redlines within a corporate playbook.
- • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (G-Suite) and experience managing contracts within a CLM system such as Ironclad.
- • Passion for clean data and meticulous organization to ensure accuracy and prevent oversights in procurement processes.
- • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Employer-sponsored health, dental, and vision plans with low or no premium for employees.
- • Generous paid time off policy to support work-life balance and employee well-being.
- • $100 monthly mobile or internet stipend to support remote work connectivity.
- • Stock options available for all employees, aligning compensation with long-term company success.
- • Bonus eligibility for all roles (excluding Director and above) and 401K program with employer contributions.
- • Parental leave program and additional total rewards offerings designed to support employees through life’s milestones.
