Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the design, development, and maintenance of BI dashboards tracking key IDR (Independent Dispute Resolution) performance metrics including win rates, collections, cash flow, and operational throughput.
- • Collaborate with the Product Lead to execute and analyze A/B testing experiments, document outcomes, and translate results into actionable product insights.
- • Build and standardize client-facing and internal reporting systems to provide clear, consistent visibility into Pivotal Health’s performance as a reimbursement partner.
- • Define and institutionalize new metric definitions to ensure cross-functional alignment on what is being measured and why across Product, Operations, Finance, and Client Success teams.
- • Investigate performance anomalies and trends by partnering with Product and Operations teams to surface root causes, identify successes and failures, and translate findings into clear, data-driven recommendations.
- • Frame analytical inquiries around stakeholder needs — particularly those of providers and vendors — prioritizing questions that reflect real business stakes rather than purely technical data structures.
- • Apply systems thinking to understand how operational changes in one area (e.g., claim submission workflows) impact downstream outcomes like cash flow or dispute resolution timelines.
- • Connect analytical findings directly to business impact by answering not just “what happened?” but “why does it matter?” and “what should we do next?”
- • Ensure data integrity across operational systems by validating sources, identifying inconsistencies, and improving data quality to support reliable decision-making.
- • Identify and automate manual reporting workflows to increase efficiency and scalability as the business grows.
- • Communicate complex analytical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives, client success managers, and operations staff.
- • Proactively investigate ambiguous business questions by structuring them into testable hypotheses and driving investigative analysis from start to finish.
- • Operate with high ownership in a fast-moving startup environment where processes are still being defined and iterative improvement is the norm.
- • Prepare for and participate in live case exercises during the interview process, demonstrating ability to interpret datasets, prioritize investigative paths, and tie insights to business outcomes.
- • Maintain awareness of the IDR process, relevant healthcare reimbursement legislation, and how automation is reshaping the industry to inform analytical priorities.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2–5 years of experience in a product, operations, or technical analytical role
- • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SQL
- • Experience building dashboards using BI tools such as Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- • Business storytelling instinct — ability to frame analysis around stakeholder needs and business impact
- • Systems thinking — understanding how operational changes ripple across business outcomes
- • Clear communication skills to convey findings to technical and non-technical audiences
🏖️ Benefits

- • Full health, dental, and vision coverage
- • Retirement savings plan through 401(k)
