• • As the inaugural Product Designer at Kovo Credit Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for a mission-driven startup dedicated to accelerating economic opportunity for individuals historically excluded from the traditional credit system. • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the entire design lifecycle. You will own the full design process, from initial research and discovery phases to the creation of wireframes, interactive prototypes, and ultimately, polished user interface designs. A key aspect of your role will be designing intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling experiences that effectively translate complex financial concepts into clear and manageable user flows. You will be instrumental in evolving Kovo's design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and maintainability across all product touchpoints. Furthermore, you will leverage a combination of data insights, user research findings, and experimentation results to continuously validate, iterate, and enhance your designs, ensuring they meet user needs and business objectives.
• • A significant and exciting part of your role will involve actively experimenting with and applying AI to amplify your design craft. This includes using AI to supercharge upfront research, conduct thorough competitive analysis, and rapidly explore a wide array of low-fidelity concepts. You will utilize AI to validate ideas more swiftly by simulating user perspectives, allowing you to walk through the product as different personas and gather early feedback. Your refined taste and expert judgment will be crucial in identifying the most promising directions from these broad AI-assisted explorations. You will then invest your core design skills in fewer, but higher-quality, high-fidelity iterations, ensuring that the final product is both innovative and user-centric.

You will work closely with product managers, marketing specialists, engineers, and customer experience representatives to inform and iteratively refine designs.
