  • • As a Product Design Manager at Tide Platform Limited, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business management platform, driving user experience and product innovation across our global operations. You will own multiple product domains, collaborating closely with senior leadership, Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow Designers to define and execute a compelling product strategy and vision. This is an opportunity to lead the creation of new, customer-facing products from inception, as well as reimagine and enhance existing solutions, ensuring they deliver significant user value and business impact.
  • • Your responsibilities will span the entire product lifecycle, from initial discovery and ideation through to rapid prototyping, user testing, and iterative delivery. You will be instrumental in de-risking initiatives by leveraging deep user research and cross-functional collaboration to thoroughly understand complex problems and develop elegant, effective solutions. A key aspect of your role will be to define clear success metrics and expected outcomes for all product initiatives, ensuring a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • • You will be a champion for design excellence, advocating for design thinking principles and their application throughout the organization. Fostering a member-centric approach will be paramount, ensuring that the needs and experiences of our SME users in the UK, India, Germany, and France are at the forefront of every design decision. You will be responsible for highlighting the team’s capabilities and contributions, demonstrating how design drives strategic goals and business success.
  • • Leading and developing a high-performing, globally distributed team of Product Designers will be a core function. You will inspire, mentor, and support your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation. This includes developing actionable career development plans to help each team member grow and succeed, ensuring the team is equipped to tackle complex design challenges.
  • • You will conceptualize and articulate a compelling product vision through prototypes and other design artifacts, clearly communicating the roadmap for delivering incremental member value. Driving strategic initiatives to deliver tested, validated outcomes will be essential, ensuring that every feature and enhancement consistently brings value to our members.
  • • Partnering effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Marketing, is crucial for aligning delivery with the overarching product vision. You will continuously monitor customer impact and operational success, being agile and ready to pivot strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • • The role demands a deep expertise in crafting exceptional end-to-end user experiences, with a meticulous attention to detail in UX design. You will leverage extensive experience with user testing, research methodologies, and iterative product discovery to inform your design process.
  • • You will be comfortable navigating ambiguity, setting clear milestones, and adapting plans in a fast-paced, iterative delivery environment. As an exceptional communicator and storyteller, you will tailor your messages effectively for diverse audiences, including senior leadership, ensuring buy-in and alignment with your vision.
  • • Your data-driven approach will be supported by hands-on experience using analytics tools to inform design decisions, ensuring that solutions are not only user-friendly but also demonstrably effective in achieving business objectives. 🎯 Requirements

  • • At least 10 years of experience in UX/Product Design, with a focus on high-growth scale-ups, well-known product organizations, or fintech/SME products with multiple product lines or platforms.
  • • Proven strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to design and product innovation, capable of translating complex business needs into user-centric solutions.
  • • Passionate about coaching and mentoring design teams, fostering best practices, and driving team success.
  • • Exceptional communicator and storyteller, adept at tailoring messages for all audiences, including senior leadership.
  • • Deep expertise in crafting exceptional end-to-end user experiences and a strong understanding of UX details.
  • • Extensive experience with user testing, research, and iterative product discovery, coupled with proficiency in design methodologies (e.g., Design Thinking) and tools like Figma.
  • • Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience using analytics tools (e.g., Looker, Heap, GA, Hotjar) to inform design decisions.
