- • Lead end-to-end product design for Watershed’s ESG reporting application, shaping a competitive platform that enables Fortune 500 companies to automate and scale their climate and sustainability reporting workflows
- • Design AI-powered, multi-player report authoring experiences that allow teams to collaboratively create, edit, and finalize audit-ready ESG reports with shared metrics and reusable responses
- • Build flexible, customizable reporting interfaces that adapt to evolving global regulatory standards such as CSRD, SEC Climate Disclosure Rules, and other mandatory frameworks
- • Conduct deep customer discovery through direct user interviews and product analytics to uncover unmet needs, validate hypotheses, and drive iterative improvements that move key business and product metrics
- • Partner closely with EPD (Engineering, Product, and Design) teams to translate product vision into detailed, high-fidelity prototypes and production-ready designs, ensuring alignment across technical and business constraints
- • Collaborate with Go-To-Market teams to understand market demands, customer segments, and competitive positioning, ensuring design decisions are rooted in real-world business outcomes
- • Integrate AI tools throughout the design process—from user research synthesis and wireframe ideation to usability testing and interaction pattern generation—to accelerate discovery and enhance output quality
- • Own the design vision and roadmap for the reporting platform, defining long-term product strategy while delivering rapid 0-to-1 experiments that validate assumptions and reduce risk
- • Maintain a relentless focus on polish and interaction detail, ensuring that complex climate data is presented through intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling interfaces
- • Champion design system consistency across the product, evolving components and patterns to support scalability, localization, and enterprise-grade usability for global customers
- • Drive weekly design jams and crit sessions to elevate team craftsmanship, share feedback constructively, and foster a culture of continuous learning and iterative improvement
- • Become a domain expert in sustainability reporting practices, regulatory landscapes, and corporate ESG workflows, using this knowledge to inform design decisions that solve real enterprise challenges
- • Work in-person from Watershed’s London office 3–4 days per week, collaborating closely with local and global product teams to ensure alignment and cohesion across time zones
- • Iterate rapidly on customer feedback, measuring design success through usage data, adoption rates, and customer satisfaction metrics tied to reporting completeness, accuracy, and efficiency
- • Translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into simple, actionable user experiences that reduce friction for finance, ESG, and sustainability teams across multinational organizations
- • Design for accessibility, inclusivity, and compliance across global markets, ensuring the platform meets WCAG standards and accommodates diverse user needs and languages
- • Present design decisions to stakeholders, including executives and enterprise clients, with clarity, data-backed rationale, and alignment to business goals
- • Contribute to hiring and mentoring junior designers, sharing best practices and setting high standards for design quality and user-centered thinking
