Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • • Weave Communications, Inc. is seeking a talented and driven Product Designer to join our growing team in India. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of how small healthcare businesses leverage data to enhance patient care and optimize their operations. You will be instrumental in evolving Weave's analytics capabilities, moving beyond simple reporting to deliver predictive and prescriptive insights that empower our users to make smarter, data-driven decisions.
  • • As a Product Designer focused on analytics, you will own the end-to-end user experience for a critical component of Weave's platform. This involves conceptualizing, designing, and iterating on features ranging from intuitive dashboards and sophisticated data visualizations to advanced predictive insights and actionable recommendations. Your work will directly impact the ability of healthcare professionals to understand their business performance, identify trends, and proactively address challenges, ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes and business success.
  • • A core aspect of your role will be deep collaboration with Product Managers and Engineering partners. You will translate complex datasets and business requirements into elegant, user-friendly interfaces. This partnership is crucial for defining the strategic vision and roadmap for Weave's analytics offerings, ensuring that our product development is aligned with user needs and market opportunities. You will be a key voice in shaping how our customers interact with and derive value from their data.
  • • You will be responsible for designing and refining data visualization patterns and charting components. This requires a keen eye for detail, balancing the need for comprehensive data representation with clarity and ease of understanding. Ensuring that these visualizations are not only informative but also accessible to users with varying levels of data literacy will be paramount. You will also play a vital role in leveraging and extending Weave's established Design System, ensuring consistency and scalability across all analytics and data-intensive interface patterns.
  • • User research will be a fundamental part of your process. You will actively engage with our users – practice owners, office managers, and front-office staff – to gain a deep understanding of their daily workflows, their current methods of using data, and their unmet needs. This qualitative research will inform your design decisions, ensuring that the solutions you create are practical, relevant, and truly solve user problems.
  • • To validate the impact of your designs, you will utilize analytics tools such as Pendo and Sigma. By measuring user engagement, feature adoption, and the effectiveness of insights, you will iterate on designs to maximize their value. This data-informed approach ensures that Weave's analytics features are not only well-designed but also demonstrably effective in improving business operations and patient care.
  • • Beyond individual contributions, you will be an active participant in fostering a strong design culture at Weave. This includes engaging in constructive design critiques, sharing learnings from your projects, and potentially mentoring junior designers. Your commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing will help elevate the entire design team.
  • • Finally, you will ensure the highest quality and cohesion throughout the design and development lifecycle. This involves meticulous attention to detail during design handoffs to engineering and ongoing collaboration to ensure faithful implementation of the designed experiences. Your dedication to quality will guarantee a seamless and polished user experience for our customers.
  • • This role offers the exciting challenge of making complex data accessible and actionable for small business owners in the healthcare sector. You will be at the forefront of innovation, helping to define the next generation of business intelligence tools for this vital industry.
