📋 Description

• As the first Product Designer at Fitt Insider Inc., you will play a foundational role in shaping the design practice and user experience of a consumer health platform that translates complex biomarker data into actionable health insights through a mobile app. Your work will directly impact how users understand and engage with their physiological data, making health information accessible, intuitive, and empowering.
• You will own the end-to-end design lifecycle for iOS and Android mobile applications, leading research, concept development, high-fidelity design, prototyping, and QA while collaborating with product, engineering, and clinical teams to deliver features that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
• The product team at Fitt Insider Inc. is small, agile, and operates with high ownership, offering you the opportunity to function as a design lead with strong influence over product direction, roadmap prioritization, and feature definition from discovery through delivery.
• You will build and evolve a scalable design system from the ground up, ensuring visual and interaction consistency across platforms as the product scales, while establishing design quality and craft as organizational standards.
• Through direct user interviews and research in sensitive health contexts, you will gain deep insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points related to hormone and biomarker tracking, translating complex physiological data into human-centered, trustworthy experiences.
• You will leverage modern AI-assisted design tools to accelerate workflows, explore concepts efficiently, and enhance creativity, allowing you to focus on strategic and high-impact design decisions.
• In this early-stage environment, you will develop leadership and product strategy skills by shaping not just how the product looks and feels, but what gets built and why, positioning you for long-term growth as a design leader in health tech.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end mobile product design for both iOS and Android platforms
• Experience designing consumer healthcare, health tech, or digital wellness products, with an understanding of the trust, sensitivity, and ethical considerations required in health contexts
• Proven experience building or scaling design systems, preferably from early stages, to ensure consistency and efficiency across growing products
