• • Design is currently the highest-leverage investment at Knowunity. You will be instrumental in this strategic focus, elevating the product's craft, UI excellence, motion design, and systematic thinking to transform a beloved product into a world-class one.
• • You will collaborate closely with a new Head of Design, contribute to building a design system from the ground up, and work alongside renowned agencies like Ragged Edge on a major brand evolution.
• • This role offers the chance to shape the design vision from its inception, rather than maintaining an existing one. You will be empowered to define and execute design strategies that resonate with a global student audience.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to raise the bar on all aspects of the student experience – what they see, touch, and feel. The goal is to make the Knowunity product undeniably world-class, setting a benchmark for UI excellence and user delight.
• • You will be responsible for establishing design standards that result in UIs students are eager to share and details that enhance their experience in subtle yet impactful ways. Your work will serve as the reference point for design quality within the company.
• • A key aspect of the role involves scaling design quality through curated references, stellar component libraries, and sharp design reviews, ensuring consistency and ease of implementation even for non-designers.
• • You will pioneer AI-native design practices, exploring how AI can transform research, ideation, and shipping processes, as well as the product experiences themselves. This includes developing AI-assisted workflows and designing intuitive AI-native product features.
• • The role emphasizes a fast-paced iteration cycle, moving from idea to production rapidly. You will work directly with C-level executives and engineering teams, with the potential to conceptualize a feature on Monday, prototype it by Wednesday, and have it live for millions of students by Thursday.
• • You will be part of an exceptional team of 60 individuals, gaining direct access to C-level executives and founders. You will have ownership over entire product areas from conception through to delivery.
