• About the Role: We are actively seeking a talented and motivated Product Designer to spearhead our ongoing product redesign initiatives. This pivotal role is designed to significantly enhance the usability, consistency, and overall user experience across our comprehensive SaaS subscription commerce platform. As a hands-on contributor, you will work in close partnership with experienced product managers, skilled engineers, and our design lead. You will not only make substantial contributions to tangible product development but also cultivate your expertise in both UI/UX design and user research methodologies. This position transcends the mere creation of visual elements; we expect you to engage in critical thinking, challenge existing assumptions, and champion user-centered design principles throughout the product lifecycle.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Translate complex user needs and detailed product requirements into intuitive user flows, clear wireframes, and functional, low-fidelity prototypes. This involves dissecting user journeys and mapping out optimal paths for interaction.
• Design and iteratively refine user interfaces and experiences based on comprehensive feedback gathered from end-users, internal stakeholders, and usability testing sessions. This includes making data-driven design decisions.
• Foster seamless collaboration with Product Managers and Engineering teams throughout the entire design and development lifecycle, ensuring alignment and efficient execution from concept to launch.
• Actively support and participate in a variety of user research activities, including conducting user interviews, designing and deploying surveys, and performing rigorous usability testing to uncover insights and validate design solutions.
• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and evolution of a centralized, shared design system within Figma, ensuring design consistency and efficiency across all product touchpoints.
• Apply established UX best practices and actively learn to expertly balance the intricate interplay between user needs, overarching business objectives, and technical feasibility constraints.
• Champion a user-centric approach in all design decisions, ensuring that the end-user's experience is at the forefront of every iteration and feature development.
• Proactively identify opportunities for design improvements and innovation, contributing fresh perspectives to the product development process.
• Engage in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to peers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the design team.
• Stay abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and methodologies, bringing new ideas and approaches to the team.
• Understand the business context and the competitive landscape to inform design strategies and ensure our product remains relevant and competitive.
• Document design decisions and rationale to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to gain a holistic understanding of product strategy and contribute design insights.
• Develop a deep understanding of our target users and their workflows within the subscription commerce space.
• Contribute to the creation of compelling visual designs that align with Infiterra's brand identity and enhance user engagement.
• Work towards creating accessible and inclusive designs that cater to a diverse user base.
• Assist in defining and tracking design metrics to measure the impact of design changes on user behavior and business outcomes.
• Embrace a mindset of continuous learning and professional development, actively seeking opportunities to expand your skill set and knowledge base.
• Be a proactive voice for the user within the organization, advocating for their needs and ensuring their perspective is integrated into product decisions.

• Help to build and maintain design documentation, including style guides and component libraries, to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative solutions to complex design challenges.
• Gain exposure to the full product development lifecycle, from initial concept and research to final implementation and post-launch analysis.
• Develop a strong understanding of the B2B SaaS landscape and the specific challenges faced by IT Distributors and MSPs in managing subscription services.
• Contribute to a culture of design excellence and innovation within Infiterra.

🎯 Requirements

• 1 to 4 years of experience in UX Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
• A relevant degree in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in creating essential UX artifacts such as user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• A foundational understanding of UX principles and user-centered design methodologies.
• Proficiency with Figma or similar industry-standard design and prototyping tools.
• Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and a strong eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
