Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As the second Product Designer at Voxel Technologies Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of computer vision and AI-powered safety solutions that protect essential workers and reduce workplace risks across industries.
- • You will work directly with the Head of Product Design and a small, agile product team embedded with engineering and customer-facing teams, visiting real-world sites like warehouses and factories to observe operations, gather insights, and build prototypes that solve tangible problems.
- • Your day-to-day involves translating deep user understanding into intuitive product experiences — sketching ideas, prototyping with AI-assisted tools, and collaborating closely with engineers to ensure designs are both usable and buildable.
- • You will own end-to-end design outcomes, from concept to shipped feature, with the autonomy to influence product direction and the responsibility to deliver solutions that make complex safety and operations workflows feel simple and effective.
- • Voxel is a Series B startup revolutionizing safety and operations through AI, where your work directly contributes to reducing the $500B+ annual cost of workplace injuries and liability in the U.S., impacting millions of workers.
- • In this role, you will grow by balancing visual craft with strategic thinking, learning to navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment, and developing the ability to advocate for user-centered design while driving measurable product impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of product design experience, with emphasis on what you’ve built rather than tenure
- • Proven ability to ship real products that users have reacted to, ideally within your first month on the job
- • Experience building tangible prototypes or products using AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, v0, or similar
- • Strong skills in sketching ideas on whiteboards and explaining the underlying logic and user rationale clearly
- • Comfort working in ambiguous environments and shaping product direction rather than executing predefined specs
🏖️ Benefits
- • Extensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
- • Highly competitive paid parental leave and family support programs
- • Equity ownership through the company’s Equity Incentive Plan
- • Generous paid time off and flexible work arrangements
- • Daily in-office meals, team-building events, and vibrant company culture
- • 401(k) retirement plan with matching, HSA options, and pre-tax commuter benefits
