• • As a Product Designer, you will become an integral part of our lean, three-person multicultural design team. This team operates at the dynamic intersection of artificial intelligence and enterprise software, a space where we are actively defining an entirely new product category. Your contribution will extend far beyond aesthetics; you will be instrumental in defining the very essence and direction of this emerging category. The primary objective of the design team is to ensure Rox remains radically useful and elegantly simple, even as its capabilities continue to expand exponentially. The design decisions you make will have a direct and profound impact on the daily workflows of thousands of sales professionals.
• • This role offers a unique blend of design and product strategy, with an expectation that you will own your assigned scope end-to-end. Approximately 60% of your time will be dedicated to design activities, while the remaining 40% will involve product thinking and strategy. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of features, from initial competitive research to identify best practices and potential opportunities, through to detailed design within our established component library. A key aspect of this role involves building live, interactive prototypes that effectively communicate full behavior and intricate edge cases. You will also be expected to articulate and defend your design decisions persuasively to engineers and product leads, fostering a collaborative and iterative development process.
• • We are seeking an individual who embodies both a strong design sensibility and a keen product-oriented mindset. Ideally, you are someone who naturally maps out competitor products for intellectual curiosity, enjoys building quick prototypes to validate concepts, and possesses a deep-seated commitment to ensuring the products you ship genuinely enhance users' lives and simplify their work. Your responsibilities will encompass designing and shipping new features by leveraging our existing component library within Figma. You will create sophisticated interactive prototypes, potentially incorporating LLMs, to vividly communicate product behavior and address complex edge cases. A significant part of your role will involve conducting thorough research into competitor products to identify successful patterns and exploitable gaps.
• • You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams, actively participating in the scoping, refinement, and defense of design decisions. Furthermore, you will contribute to high-level, platform-wide strategic discussions, influencing the future direction and evolution of Rox. A proactive approach is highly valued; we encourage you to identify and take ownership of low-hanging UX improvements that can yield immediate benefits for our users. As our design system matures, you will also propose and design new components to enhance its capabilities and consistency. Success in this role is defined by your ability to quickly integrate, contribute meaningfully, and drive impactful design outcomes.
